Mission Statement

The  mission of the Eaton Rapids Township fire Department is to reduce 
death,  injuries, and property loss from fire, hazardous material incidents,  
emergency medical situations, and other emergencies whether man-made 
or natural disasters by being proactive in training, professional in manner, 
while recognizing and treating our people as our most valuable resource.

The mission will be accomplished through  fire prevention, public safety 
education, inspection, fire investigation, and incident response, while at
the same time providing the best possible protection at the most effective
cost to the citizens of Eaton Rapids Township and the surrounding communities.
